Terms of Service · SmartCOD

These Terms govern your use of SmartCOD (the "Service"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

SmartCOD provides a hosted cash-on-delivery order form, upsell, OTP verification, and analytics tooling that integrates with your Shopify store via the Shopify Admin API.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your Shopify account, the data you submit, and complying with all laws applicable to selling cash on delivery in your jurisdiction.

3. Billing

Paid plans are billed through Shopify's Billing API. Prices are shown in the app before you approve a charge. You may cancel at any time from inside SmartCOD; charges already accrued are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Acceptable use

No unlawful, deceptive, or fraudulent orders.
No spam, harassment, or misuse of shoppers' data.
No attempt to bypass Shopify's platform terms or SmartCOD's technical safeguards.

5. Availability

We work hard to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Planned maintenance windows may occur.

6. Warranty & liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

You may uninstall the app at any time from your Shopify admin. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or Shopify's Partner Program requirements.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in-app or by email before taking effect.
